Our series is a part of the USA Snowboard Association, or USASA. The USASA is the governing body for amateur snowboard competitions that encompass all 50 states and includes over 8,000 riders.
Snowboarders of all ages are welcome to participate in our events. Snow Ohio is one of 36 promoters of USASA sanctioned competitions. The Snow Ohio series was formed in 1994 and organizes premier events in Ohio, New York and Pennsylvania.
We offer five different riding disciplines including; halfpipe, slopestyle, bordercross, slalon and giant slalom. All competitors are required to wear helmuts during USASA events.
USASA memberships ($75) are required to compete in SnowOhio competitions in addition to a $15 -$20 fee for each event. USASA members receive a free one year subscirption to Transworld Snowboarding magazine ($45 newstand value). Competitors also have the chance to qualify for the 2010 USASA Nationals at Copper Mountain. We offer one day memberships ($25) and free trial memberships for first time competitors.... come on out and join the fun!!!
