Our series is a part of the USA Snowboard Association, or USASA. The USASA is the governing body for amateur snowboard competitions that encompasses 32 series and involves over 8,000 riders.
Snowboarders of all ages participate in our freestyle and alpine racing events. The Snow Ohio series was formed in 1994 and organizes premier events in Ohio, Michigan and Pennsylvania. We offer freestyle skiing competitions as well.
We offer five different competions including; halfpipe, slopestyle, bordercross, slalon and giant slalom. All competitors are required to wear helmuts during USASA events.
USASA memberships are required to compete in SnowOhio competitions in addition to a $15 -$25 fee for each event. We also offer free trial memberships for first time competitors, and one day memberships for $25.
USASA members that are 12 or older earn TTR points, which are used for international snowboard rankings. You'll also receive a one year subscirption to Transworld Snowboarding magazine.
SnowOhio competitors have the opportunity to qualify for the USASA Nationals at Copper Mountain, and they are eligible for winning awesome swag after each competition!
